BEATLES - LENNON 'A SCHOOL FAILURE'

Late BEATLE star JOHN LENNON failed to impress his former school teachers - because he liked to act as the school's "clown".
Lennon's teachers couldn't recognise his talents that rocketed him to worldwide fame - but predicted he would be a failure.
In a school report from Quarry Bank School in Liverpool, England, one teacher wrote: "Certainly on the road to failure, hopeless, rather a clown of the class and wastes other pupils' time."
Lennon was shot dead in New York in 1980.
