JOHN LEGEND - LEGEND: 'AWARD-SNUBBERS ARE LYING TO THEMSELVES'

R+B singer JOHN LEGEND insists stars who shun award ceremonies are kidding themselves - as all artists like to be recognised for their talent. The Ordinary People star admits he enjoys winning gongs, but doesn't worry if listeners aren't big fans of his music. He says, "If any artist tells you they don't like awards, they're lying. "I don't need people to tell me they like my music but it's a nice validation." And Legend admits he has a tough time finding enough room in his New York apartment for his collection of five Grammy awards. He explains, "I have my Grammys on my piano and the others in my bedroom. I don't have a Donald Trump-style mansion so I have them all close together."
