COURTENEY COX - LEGAL PROBLEMS AFFECT COX'S SHOW

COURTENEY COX's new TV show DIRT is facing legal problems over the spelling of its title.
The drama, which sees Cox play tabloid editor LUCY SPILLER, is spelt Dirt on a magazine mockup which is part of the credits. However, during the programme, it is depicted as Drrt.
And when the magazine merges with another fictional title called Now, the spelling changes to DirtNow.
A spokesman for the show tells the New York Daily News, "It was a legal clearance issue on using the magazine name Dirt."
Dirt was briefly published as a male version of teen magazine Sassy during the 1990s, and is currently the name of a British mountain bike magazine.
