LEE TAKES RECORD BACK FROM ROCK

British funnyman LEE EVANS is to perform for 80,000 people in a sell-out run of shows - smashing the record set by CHRIS ROCK.
Evans has sold out five-nights at London's 16,000-capacity O2 Arena this month (Oct08) - snatching back the record for largest U.K. comedy audience that Rock stole from him in May (08).
The American comedian set a new high when he played to 19,500 people at the O2 - beating Evans' existing total of 10,108.
But the Brit has now hit back and is set to wow 80,000 fans - with a further five nights at nearby Wembley Arena scheduled for later in October (08) and early November (08).
Lee says, "It has been three years since my last stand-up tour and it's a real honour to play the O2 which will be the single biggest gig of my career.
"I have played some large venues before but this is another level completely and to be honest I'm scared s**tless already!"
