DENIS LEARY - LEARY BLASTED FOR DISMISSING PAL

Comedian/actor DENIS LEARY has come under fire from a former TV castmate, who he sacked. Veteran actor Jack MCGee played opposite Leary in U.S. drama Rescue Me, which revolves around the lives of New York firefighters. MCGee, who actually was a fireman in his youth, claims Leary, the show's star, writer and producer, is a terrible bully on set but couldn't bring himself to personally dismiss his co-star. The 58-year-old blasts, "I never got an explanation for why (character) Reilly was written out... He never said a word to me... I guess I wound up in his doghouse." And MCGee has accused his former pal and castmate of taking all the credit for the show's success. He adds, "The promos are all him. You'd think there was nobody else on the show."
