French actress JULIETTE BINOCHE felt for her onscreen love interest JUDE LAW during the shooting of new movie BREAKING + ENTERING, because she empathised with the pain he was going through in his personal life. Binoche was playing the British actor's mistress at the same time as news of his real-life infidelities with his children's nanny hit the headlines. And she admits Law's sadness on the set turned the actor into an adorable person. She says, "You have to love the people that you're working with and it's not about sex; you're playing with the soul. "You're with the soul and I saw him going through a lot of trauma during that period of time. It was horrible, so I had a lot of compassion for him." Binoche admits that she and co-star ROBIN WRIGHT PENN let it be known that they were there for Law if he needed someone to talk to, but they respected his privacy throughout the scandal, which ended his engagement to actress SIENNA MILLER. The French actress adds, "We didn't talk about it too much because it was so intimate and fragile for Jude."
