LAW AND ORDER - LAW AND ORDER ACTOR FACES JAIL FOR ROBBERIES

Prisoner-turned LAW AND ORDER actor DAVID WAYNE is heading back to prison after admitting robbing hotels and stores in New York. The 48-year-old - who landed a role in the TV show playing a once-imprisoned author - pleaded guilty to robbery and attempted robber in court in Manhattan on Monday (30Apr07). He admitted he wore bandages on his face and strapped highway flares around his body to rob thousands of dollars from a series of hotels and stores. Wayne - who has already spent 14 years in prison for earlier robberies - faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison when he is sentenced in 18 June (07).
