JUDE LAW - LAW: 'ALFIE PAID FOR MY DIVORCE'

Actor JUDE LAW doesn't mind that his remake of ALFIE was a turkey - because it paid for his divorce from ex-wife SADIE FROST. The Hollywood star was roundly panned for his role in the 2004 remake of the classic 60s movie. And though he admits it wasn't a career high-point, he insists it paid more than any other feature he's starred in. He says, "It proved that the film was more a film of its time and it didn't work now. But there's no point playing safe all the time. And Alfie paid me more money than any other film's ever paid. You know, paid for my divorce!"
