HOUSE star HUGH LAURIE looks back on his relationship with EMMA THOMPSON with fond memories, because their time together was "blissful".
The British actor enjoyed a romance with Thompson when the pair studied at the prestigious Cambridge University in England.
They went their separate ways and each of them has subsequently married and had children - but Laurie still treasures their carefree time together.
He tells New York gossip column PageSix, "Those were blissful days, I must say. We couldn't even imagine a life in Hollywood back then. Hollywood was as distant and impossible as El Dorado. It was all about fun.
"Watching Emma was like watching the sun or wind or some other elemental force. Her talent even then was inescapable."
