LAUER COMES TO CRUISE'S DEFENCE
LATEST: Tom Cruise has gained support from an unlikely ally - US TODAY show host MATT LAUER, who sparred with Cruise last year (05) over the use of anti-depressant drugs. Cruise famously called Lauer "glib" during the interview while touting his Scientology beliefs and the evils of psychiatry. Lauer came to the star's defence on Wednesday (23AUG06) morning on his show, saying, "Maybe he speaks out about Scientology and some people don't like that, but what about the stars who are in and out of rehab every week? "Is that any worse? And yet you find movie companies still in business with them."

Lauer is right to criticize those actors qho are drugged.
But scientology and some other cults act like drugs, and make people stupid.
Probably Cruise would not be criticizing medicine, psychiatry, and society at
large the way he does if he was'nt brainwashed by a lot of the insane ideas
proferred decades ago by convicted L. Ron Hubbard (4 years unsuspended jail for
fraud and extortion in France).
Does Cruise speaks of that convition whne he boasts Hubbard? No. He should.
