Amy and her friend both have cigarettes inside the shop, despite the no smoking signs, and appear to leave without paying for a magazine. Amy seems totally out of it, and has chosen an appropriate newspaper to read, with the headline 'Headcase'....

Amy Winehouse has belatedly been granted the visa she needed to perform in person at tonight's Grammy awards.

The British singer had attempted to process the work permit earlier last week but her application was initially rejected by the US Embassy.

She has now received permission to travel to the US but, given the late notice, will not be going ahead with a sudden trip across the Atlantic.

Instead she will perform via videolink to the ceremony, where she is up for six awards.

Her hit single Rehab and its even bigger album Back to Black put her in a strong position to do well in the ceremony, the 50th Grammys, with nominations for categories including record of the year, best new artist and best female pop vocal performance.

She is not leading the way in the nomination stakes, however, for US rapper Kanye West is named in eight categories.

The other contenders for the best album prize are West's Graduation, Herbie Hancock's River: The Joni Letters, Vince Gill's These Days and the Foo Fighters' Echoes, Silence, Patience And Grace.
