DIANE LANE - LANE LOVES SHORN LOCKS

DIANE LANE has no regrets about chopping off her hair on live television and insists she loves her sleek new look. The UNFAITHFUL star cut her hair earlier this summer (06) live on US morning show TODAY to make a wig for cancer charity Beautiful Lengths. She explains, "I like it short, I kept it short." Lane was especially relieved when husband JOSH BROLIN approved of her new hairdo adding jokingly, "He loved it, which is convenient, because that's the priority. "It is all about the hair as we know!" THE PERFECT STORM star insists she has no remorse about deciding to lop off her locks saying, "You know, I thought I would. "Summer was so hot and I had a nice breeze on my neck for a change. I use a lot less product. That's one way to look at it!"
