LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS - LA BAMBA STAR PHILLIPS IN COURT FOR PROBATION UPDATE

Actor LOU DIAMOND PHILLIPS appeared in a Los Angeles court yesterday (30Apr07) to hand in paperwork relating to his probation for beating up his girlfriend during an altercation. The La Bamba star was arrested in August 2006 after police raced to his Northridge, California home following reports he was attacking his girlfriend Yvonne Boismer. In December (06), Phillips pleaded no contest to the abuse charges - he was sentenced to a year of domestic violence counselling and 200 hours of community service, and was also placed on probation for three years. Phillips is next back in court on 30 July (07), reports website TMZ.com.
