KRAKOWSKI TO STAR IN BROADWAY BASEBALL MUSICAL

Actress JANE KRAKOWSKI has landed a lead role in the Broadway stage revival of DAMN YANKEES, according to reports.
The 30 Rock sitcom star is set to play Lola in a production of the baseball musical, due to kick off this summer (08).
She is expected to star alongside Will + Grace actor Sean Hayes, reports the New York Daily News.
It's Krakowski's first New York theatre role since she starred in Nine in 2003. Earlier this year, she discovered she had missed out on the chance to reprise her role in Nine, in the forthcoming movie adaptation. Her part will be taken by Penelope Cruz.
