BEVERLEY KNIGHT - KNIGHT SHOCKED BY PRINCE STAGE ATTACK

English soul singer BEVERLEY KNIGHT has hit out at a PRINCE fan who stormed the stage as her idol performed on Thursday (10May07). The woman leaped on the stage during the Purple Rain star's celebrity-studded show in London, forcing a kiss on the stunned singer and knocking him to the ground. Startled Prince ran off the stage, returning a few minutes later to tell the crowd, "I'm so ashamed I let a total stranger kiss me." Knight, 34, sympathised with the star saying, "It was so disgusting. I can't believe anyone would be that disrespectful. What makes you think you can behave that way with Prince?"
