BEN KINGSLEY - KINGSLEY'S SEXY BEAST INSPIRED BY REAL THUGS

Veteran actor SIR BEN KINGSLEY based his mobster SEXY BEAST character on backstage crew workers he met during his time in the theatre. The 63-year-old, who plays the intimidating villain DON LOGAN in the 2000 film, found his inspiration from real tough guys. Kingsley says, "In my days with the Royal Shakespeare Company there were backstage crew covered in tattoos. "I remember one stagehand said to a colleague of mine, 'I 'eard you 'ad your f**king car stolen.' "He said, 'Yes I did.' "The stagehand said, 'You want it back?' "And he got his car back the next day."
