ANTHONY KIEDIS - KIEDIS CUTS HIS ARM IN FRONT OF PHOTOGRAPHERS

Rocker ANTHONY KIEDIS injured himself at the Fuse Fangoria Chainsaw Awards on Sunday night (15OCT06) - when he slashed his arm after throwing his statuette in the air. The RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS singer picked up the Killer Video honour for the band's DANI CALIFORNIA promo at the Orpheum Theater event in Los Angeles. And while showing off for the benefit of photographers backstage, Kiedis threw his award - made of cement and shaped like a chainsaw - in the air only to see it land on his arm, causing it to bleed. A calm Kiedis then licked the blood off his arm, reports PageSix.com.
