NICOLE KIDMAN - KIDMAN'S BATHING SUIT AUCTIONED FOR COWS

A bathing suit worn by actress NICOLE KIDMAN is set to raise thousands of dollars (pounds) for disadvantaged families in India. The swimsuit, left behind by the star at a Swedish pool in 2002, is on display at a second-hand shop in Esloev, Sweden and will be sold to the highest bidder on Saturday (09Feb08). Owner Zlatko Nedanovski purchased the swimsuit for $840 (GBP420) from a local radio station but decided to donate the swimsuit to aid organisation Erikshjaelpen, which will use proceeds to purchase cows for Indian farmers. Nedanovski says, "I have been in possession of this bathing suit for more than five years and the time has come for me to pay my dues, for instance through a charitable project."
