NICOLE KIDMAN - KIDMAN TO PLAY SPRINGFIELD

Australian actress NICOLE KIDMAN is to play DUSTY SPRINGFIELD in a new biopic of the singer's life.
The 40-year-old star is to team up again with Michael Cunningham - who scripted her Oscar-winning performance in 2002's The Hours.
The movie will chronicle Springfield's rise to fame in the 1960s and touch on her battles with alcohol, drugs and mental health problems before her death from breast cancer in 1999.
Script-writer Cunningham says, "It will be the real Dusty. A great artist who no one knew what to do with. But she is going into history with The Beatles and the Rolling Stones."
