KID ROCK - KID ROCK SUES ASSAULT ACCUSER

KID ROCK is suing the woman who accused him of assaulting her at his home in Michigan last week (ends16MAR07). KELLY ANN KOZLOWSKI's claims were thrown out of court due to lack of evidence, and now Rock, real name ROBERT RITCHIE, is turning the tables on his accuser. He is seeking undisclosed monetary damages for invasion of privacy and defamation. In a police report, Kozlowski claimed the rapping rocker had attacked her as she attempted to leave a late-night party at his home. Rock denied the unsubstantiated assault charges and maintained Kozlowski had threatened to press charges against him after he asked her to leave his home. In papers Rock's attorneys have filed, obtained by website TMZ.com, it states Kozlowski was asked to leave after she "began placing drinks on recording equipment and was otherwise acting improperly".
