DIANE KEATON - KEATON HAD A SECOND SHOT AT DREAM HOME

Actress DIANE KEATON initially passed up the chance to own her dream home - because it needed too much of an overhaul.
Keaton actually bought the famous Ralph Flewelling Roxbury Drive mansion when it was first placed on the market in 2000, but backed out because the job of renovating the 80-year-old property was too great.
She says, "I got cold feet."
But the actress got a second chance to buy the estate in 2006, and didn't think twice.
She has since worked with pal and designer Stephen Shadley to recreate the Spanish Colonial home's glory days.
She adds, "I wanted to bring the house back to its core simplicity."
The pair's work features in the pages of the new Architecture Digest as Keaton opens up the doors to her home for the publication.
