KASABIAN - KASABIAN STAR RUSHED TO HOSPITAL

KASABIAN frontman TOM MEIGHAN was rushed to the hospital after wounding his hand while watching a soccer game in his native England.
The singer sliced his hand open on fencing at Walkers Stadium last week (29Mar08) while celebrating a goal made by his favourite team, Leicester City Football Club - but the 27-year-old didn't want to leave the grounds for treatment.
But medics insisted he seek professional treatment, as the gash was just inches from his wrist and could have been a serious injury.
He says, "I was lucky it wasn't lower. There was blood everywhere. (But) I'd never stop going to footie. I love it."
