KANO - KANO BEATS DIZZEE FOR TOP AWARD

British rapper KANO has beat stiff competition from rival star DIZZEE RASCAL to scoop the top gong at the BET Hip-Hop Awards in the U.S. The London Town hitmaker was crowned the Best U.K. Hip-Hop Act by MTV Base viewers on Monday night (01Oct07). But Kano will have to wait until 13 October to pick up his award at a ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia.
