KAISER CHIEFS - KAISER CHIEFS: 'WE HATE BOND'

British rockers THE KAISER CHIEFS have vowed never to record the iconic JAMES BOND theme - because they find the superspy 'boring'. The band insist their dislike of the infamous secret agent would hamper their involvement with the franchise, despite collaborating with 007 soundtrack producer David Arnold at this year's (07) BBC Electric Proms. Drummer Nick Hodgson says, "We won't be doing any Bond music. I've seen a couple of the movies. It was boring." And Hodgson admits the band isn't likely to get involved with any movie soundtracks in the future. He explains, "We were asked to write a soundtrack once. But it was a romcom, it wasn't our thing. We thought it would be interesting, but it wasn't."
