ROD STEWART - JUDGE ORDERS STEWART TO SETTLE LAWSUIT

A judge has ordered ROD STEWART's son SEAN to settle a lawsuit with a married couple he stands accused of assaulting. Alleged victims Tobalus and Ericka Stein have accused Sean Stewart of pelting their car with bricks and other items, including a mailbox, in Los Angeles last year (07). The couple claim they were attacked when the 27-year-old became enraged after partygoers refused him and a friend entrance to a party. Stein also insists she was rushed to hospital suffering from "massive lacerations" after the alleged attack. The judge has set a settlement hearing for Monday (11Feb08) in a bid to resolve the issue. This is not the only court hearing Stewart currently faces. He also stands accused of attacking a man in a bar brawl at Hollywood's LAX nightclub in 2006. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 11 April (08).
