JUDE LAW - JUDE'S PEACEKEEPING ROLE

Brit actor Jude Law may not have a reputation of being an action hero movie star, but he's certainly capable of breaking up fights.

This is exactly what the 34-year-old was called on to do after a dispute between two of his friends escalated into a brawl.

Jude was chilling at jazz venue Ronnie Scott's in London's West End when the fight broke out, but according to the Mirror he leapt into action to try to keep the peace.

"There was a great band on and it was shaping up to be a pretty chilled evening," a source told the tabloid.

"But all of a sudden two of Jude's friends started shouting at each. Before we knew it there were fists flying and security had to intervene.

The source added: "Jude was really trying to calm everyone down as it had started over nothing."

Bad luck for his two mates though; as they were asked to leave the club.

Law was last seen on the big screen in romantic comedy The Holiday, co-starring Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet.
