It seems that Joss Stone has got a whole lot of love to share around.

While most artists make do with a sleeve or two in their album cover to thank people who have helped them, the 21-year-old singer decided to dedicate a page on her website to show her gratitude.

And it's not just a few lines – oh no, the west country girl-turned drawling southern American diva felt that 7,000 words were necessary.

Following the link given in her album, people will find a tribute starting with God and then going on to thank everyone who has been part of her "growing experience".

Even music itself gets praised, as she thanks it for "loving me back".

Music producers and family might seem like the usual people to thank, but also included in the mammoth list of gratitude are those who saved her "from many slugs and bugs", put suncream on her and made her "some serious cheesecake".

Making it to the bottom of the list – and that is quite some task – reveals that Joss seems to think she is on a personal music mission.

"Let's make the most of what we're given and spread real music across the world…we can make real music with real musicians and real instruments popular again," she said.

But it seems that not everyone is as keen on her "real" music as she is; so far her third album is at number 12 in the midweek charts and is being outsold by X Factor runner-up Ray Quinn.
