JORDAN - JORDAN PUZZLED BY GINGER HAIR

Celebrity mum Jordan has admitted that she has been left more than a little shocked by her new daughter's shock of ginger hair.

The model and her popstar husband Peter Andre have given their new baby daughter, Princess Tiaami, her first glimpse of the spotlight at a photoshoot for OK! Magazine.

The baby has ginger hair and blue eyes, giving her a very different appearance to the couple's other child Junior.

And the former glamour star, whose real name is Katie Price, has admitted that the girl's hair colour came as something of a surprise, although she warned potential bullies to steer clear.

"I don't mind, though. I love her anyway, even if she's a ginge," she said.

"Actually I think when people are horrible about people with red hair that's as bad as being racist."

When asked why she thought her daughter was ginger, Price joked that she did have a ginger gardener, but admitted she was not sure where the genes originated.

"It's weird. She must be a throwback from my side because my real dad has blue eyes but I don't know where the ginger comes from. Pete gets a bit of ginge in his beard," she added.

Andre previously revealed that the unusual name for their child came to him one morning when he decided to put his own mother's name and Jordan's mother's name together.

"Katie always loved the name Princess but everyone thought it was a bit over the top," he said.

"I loved it too but I wanted to name her after both our mums and then I just woke up one morning and thought 'I know! We'll just put them together'.

Andre's mother is called Thea, while Jordan's is named Amy.

The couple met on the ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here! and married in September 2005. Jordan has one son, Harvey, from her previous relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke.
