Music mogul Quincy Jones is to launch a Broadway show - 33 years after conceiving the project.
The legendary record producer reveals he's close to unveiling his work on the New York stage - and he's got big plans for a movie version too.
He tells the New York Daily News, "It's called The Genesis and Evolution of Jazz and Blues and will be a Broadway show and 3-D Pixar film."
Jones is looking to hire a seasoned Broadway professional to direct the show: "Hopefully I'll be working with Julie Taymor because she's the best."
But he may face a long wait - Taymor is currently working on the new Spider-Man musical with Evan Rachel Wood, which is set to open on Broadway next February (10).
