NORAH JONES - JONES: 'MUM STOPS MY DIVA BEHAVIOUR'

Grammy Award-winning star NORAH JONES credits her mother with helping her stay grounded and stopping fame from going to her head. The COME AWAY WITH ME singer admits former dancer and theatre producer SUE keeps her constantly in check to ensure she doesn't turn into a badly behaved egotistical star. She says, "I think my mom's way too harsh on me! She's at me before I've even done anything, 'Just in case'. "She's always thought very little of fame. She came with me to the Grammys that first year and by the time I was being called up for my fifth trophy she was groaning out loud, 'Please God, no. Not another one.' "Because I was brought up an only child, I think we both realise there's the potential for me to act spoiled if given the opportunity, and she likes to make sure I never get that opportunity."
