QUINCY JONES - JONES JR WANTS TO MAKE MUSIC

QUINCY JONES' actress daughter RASHIDA is planning to follow in the family business and record an album of her own material. The star of TV comedy The Office has already provided backing vocals for Maroon 5 and is keen to record some of her solo material. But she insists she has no intention of ever releasing an LP - she wants to make music only for her own pleasure. Jones, 32, says, "I wouldn't want to be part of the music business, but I love making music with friends. One day I will absolutely hunker down for six months and record something, even if it's just for myself. I think about that a lot."
