JUELZ SANTANA - JIM JONES GIG ENDS IN SHOOTOUT

A concert by DIPSET rapper JIM JONES ended in tragedy last night (24SEP06) when one person died and three were injured in a shootout shortly after the Virginia gig ended. Witnesses saw multiple shots being fired during the incident, which took place around 2am local time at the Miami Restaurant And Lounge in Virginia Beach. Police, who are investigating the motive behind the shootout, placed the club on lockdown and one male victim was rushed to hospital in an ambulance. No arrests have yet been made. Virginia Beach Police spokeswoman MARGIE LONG tells AllHipHop.com, "The shooting occurred when the club was clearing out. We are still conducting interviews, because there were numerous shooters. "One victim died and the other victims suffered serious injuries. One victim was flown out by helicopter to a local trauma centre." In July (06), two people were arrested and four received treatment for minor injuries when an Allentown, Pennsylvania concert by Dipset member JUELZ SANTANA turned violent.
