JESSE MALIN TO RELEASE LIVE ALBUM

JESSE MALIN is set to release a live album which was recorded across two nights last December.

To be released on December 15th via the One Little Indian label, MERCURY RETROGRADE - LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY will also feature unreleased studio material from the GLITTER IN THE GUTTER sessions.

It will mark the first time Malin has officially released a live album, having previously sold a bootleg recorded in Liverpool at his shows, reports Uncut.

He commented: "Leaving the house and going out to see live shows is a ritual for me - a physical experience that I can't get at home just listening to a studio album.

"For my first ever-live album, I wanted to record the songs differently by going back to the original essence of how they were written, on an acoustic guitar."

Malin's last studio album GLITTER IN THE GUTTER featured guest slots from the likes of RYAN ADAMS and JOSH HOMME.
