JAH CURE BANNED FROM BRITAIN

Reggae star JAH CURE has been forced to cancel two upcoming London gigs - he has been denied entry into the U.K. because he is a convicted criminal. The Jamaican singer, who has been dubbed the new Bob Marley, was due to play at the Brixton Academy on 20 and 21 October (07) - but the tour has now been pulled after British immigration officials banned him from visiting the country. The 29-year-old was released in July (07) after serving eight years of a 12-year sentence on rape and robbery charges.
