AMERICAN IDOL - JACKSON LINED UP FOR THE X FACTOR

AMERICAN IDOL judge RANDY JACKSON has been lined up to appear on British TV talent show THE X FACTOR. The music mogul is set to replace axed panel member LOUIS WALSH, whose departure from the series was announced earlier this month (MAR07). And the 50-year-old star, who is currently in talks with TV bosses about the role, admits he is looking forward to teaming up with fellow Idol judge SIMON COWELL in the UK. He says, "I would love to do it. I can't wait to come to London. It will be a fantastic opportunity. "I love working with Simon. We're great friends."
