JACKSON BUYS A STAKE IN EMINEM CATALOGUE
Pop legend MICHAEL JACKSON has bought publishing rights for rapper EMINEM's back catalogue.
The Thriller hitmaker, who also currently owns The Beatles copyright, has purchased Famous Music LLC from Viacom for an undisclosed amount.
Jackson is now the owner of The Real Slim Shady and Without Me but also owns the rights to songs by Shakira, Beck and Bjork under the transaction.
The singer says, "This is a milestone event for Sony/ATV Music Publishing. The diverse collection of songs in this catalogue range from timeless classics to contemporary hits, and I am pleased to add the acquisition of Famous Music to Sony/ ATV."
Eminem parodied Jackson in his video for 2002 hit Without Me.

Why you taking this as a dig at Em? Would someone who is going to be releasing
a song with 50 Cent be trying to be a c**t to his friend? You think when
Michael Jackson bought the Beatles' rights, he was trying to piss them off and
get back at them? Settle down man
has bought???lol lol lol lol ...not bad for a bankrupt!!!-not-!!!!and what
comes out of this story?it comes the fact that you should not make fun of other
people cause other people may not low down to your -way too low- level and
answer you back.but they have been in the bussiness even before you were born
and the can kick your ass when you don't expect it..in the song that eminem
made fun of jackson in the video clip, now with every dollar someone pays to buy
it ,the money goes to jackson!!!!!lol, lol.lol!!!!!!!hey,em,what's your story
now??
