JA RULE - JA RULE + LIL' WAYNE ARRESTED FOR GUN POSSESSION

Hip-hop stars LIL' WAYNE and JA RULE have been arrested on separate gun possession charges in New York. Lil' Wayne - real name Dwayne Michael Carter Jr - was arrested in Manhattan shortly after his performance at the Beacon Theater on Sunday night (22Jul07). Police said Carter was found carrying a .40 caliber pistol after he was stopped for smoking marijuana. In a separate incident, rapper Ja Rule - real name Jeffrey Atkins - and two associates were arrested in Manhattan for speeding. A .40 caliber pistol was also found inside his vehicle.
