MUSE - ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL LINE-UP ANNOUNCED
Brit Award winners Muse and Amy Winehouse are to perform at this year's Isle of Wight Festival.
Other British acts who have signed up for the three-day festival include Snow Patrol, Kasabian and Keane.
The Brit Awards' best British male James Morrison and breakthrough act the Fratellis are taking part along with newcomers Paolo Nutini, The Feeling and Wolfmother.
Confirming their involvement in the festival today, Muse said that "performing live is what we're all about".
"Some of our biggest heroes played the festival back in the 70's. It's steeped in history and we can't wait to be a part of that," they added.
About 50,000 people are expected at the festival, which will take place on June 8th - 10th at Seaclose Park.
The event's organisers have promised that the gigs are set to be "sizzling". More acts are to be announced, including Sunday night's headliner.
Tickets are available from 09:00 GMT on Wednesday February 21st.
