IRON MAIDEN singer BRUCE DICKINSON is set to unveil his new horror film at Cannes Film Festival.

CHEMICAL WEDDING was co-written by the rock legend and stars SIMON CALLOW.

The supernatural thriller sees Callow playing Professor Haddo – the reincarnation of occultist Aleister Crowley, once described as Britain's most evil man.

Director Julian Doyle co-wrote the screenplay.

Dickinson is planning to fly friends and family to the festival, which takes place in May, in the band's private Boeing 757 jet.

Currently, Dickinson is on a world tour with IRON MAIDEN.

The band recently announced that they will be offering a trial version of their upcoming greatest hits album as a free high-quality download.

SOMEWHERE BACK IN TIME chronicles the band's hits from their seven albums and one live record released in the 1980s.

Fans will be able to listen to the album without being charged three times.

It will be available from their official website on May 12th.
