NATALIE IMBRUGLIA - IMBRUGLIA HAVING FUN AFTER SPLIT

Australian singer NATALIE IMBRUGLIA wants to devote her time to having fun after splitting from her husband, SILVERCHAIR rocker DANIEL JOHNS. The couple announced last week (begs31Dec07) that their four-year marriage was over, and the Torn hitmaker is keen to take advantage of her new single status, a mood which is reflected in her forthcoming album. She says, "I just wanna have fun. That was my main brief. No introspection, let's not over-think this, I wanted the music to feel up and summery. Just fun. "This record I wanted to be more light-hearted. It reflects how I'm feeling now. I've chilled out a lot. Maybe it's just age. I don't take it all as seriously as I used to."
