IGOR RAISES MALARIA FUNDS
JOHN CUSACK and STEVE BUSCEMI's new animated movie IGOR is helping to combat the threat of malaria in Africa.
Charity bosses at Malaria.com got in touch with producers when they heard that the story of a hunchback who becomes a great inventor is set in a fictional land called Malaria.
Buscemi explains, "Now there's a tie-in with the film and malaria. For a very little donation you can purchase these nets that is the biggest prevention of malaria in Africa, where it is a huge problem.
"Out of one to three million people who die of malaria, 70 per cent are under five years old. I had no idea that it's a huge problem, so I'm glad if this movie can raise money."
