BLOC PARTY performed new material over the weekend at a festival in Iceland.

The British band premiered a new track called FLUX at the Iceland Airwaves festival on Saturday (October 20th) during a set at the Reykjavik Art Museum.

Frontman KELE OKEREKE surfed the crowd and sang lines from the Pixies song Where Is My Mind?, reports NME.

The 26-year-old musician, who grew up in London, told the magazine recently that he had became aware of racism as a young child.

"The first time I realised I had different coloured skin to other people [was] as a four year old - realising that you're different, realising that although you live in this country there are certain avenues and doors that are closed to you.

"We live in a bubble in London that isn't the same as certain parts of the rest of the UK and you can't forget that. There are places we've played in the UK where they really don't see non-white faces."
