ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER - IAN + LLOYD WEBBER SHARE STAGE HONOURS

The brains behind Britain's reality TV hit HOW DO YOU SOLVE A PROBLEM LIKE MARIA? have topped the annual list of the 100 Most Influential People in British Theatre.
ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER and producer DAVID IAN's TV talent search and resulting revival of musical THE SOUND OF MUSIC earned the duo top marks in theatre trade paper The Stage's end-of-year honours.
Ian, who had the top spot to himself last year (05/06) plans to continue his reality TV interests by producing US show YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT, which will find the leads for an upcoming Broadway production of GREASE.
Webber has announced he plans to follow How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? with another British talent search, ANY DREAM WILL DO, which will find a star for his upcoming JOSEPH + THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT revival.
Others who made the top 20 of The Stage's new honour role included CAMERON MACKINTOSH, KEVIN SPACEY, BILL KENWRIGHT and playwright HAROLD PINTER.
