MICK JAGGER - HUCKABEE EMBARRASSED BY JAGGER MIX-UP

Former U.S. presidential hopeful MIKE HUCKABEE was left red-faced at a recent election rally when he proudly introduced SIR MICK JAGGER to the stage - only to realise it was the rocker's brother, CHRIS. The Republican met Chris Jagger at a cafe in Miami, Florida last week (ends02Mar08) and, believing him to be his more famous older brother Mick, invited him to perform a couple of tracks at his campaign rally later that evening. At the event, Huckabee told the crowd: "We have a surprise visitor here tonight. Will you welcome Mr Mick Jagger, who will sing two of his band's songs with us." But the audience was instead treated to a set by 60-year-old Chris, a musician in his own right, who played along with the joke - much to the former senator's embarrassment. Huckabee announced on Tuesday (04Mar08) that he is quitting the race for the White House, conceding defeat to his fellow Republican, Senator John MCCain.
