Actor TERRENCE HOWARD has landed a record deal and will release his debut album later this year (08). Howard, who was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for his role as a pimp-turned-rapper in 2005 movie Hustle + Flow, has signed with Columbia Records. A label representative says, "The full name (of the project) is Terrence Howard Presents Me And The Band of Kings." The disc is due to hit stores this autumn.
