HOT CHIP - HOT CHIP'S FAN ENCOUNTER FEAR

Cult rockers HOT CHIP were left fearing for their safety after an encounter with a strange fan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The British band were so wary of the religious man they made certain he didn't follow them when they left the concert venue. Frontman JOE GODDARD says, "We were in Milwaukee when my fellow singer ALEXIS (TURNER) had this religious nutter come up to him who said his name was ENOCH - in the Bible, Enoch was the person who walked with God for 300 years. "He was worryingly odd. He told us we played angel music. "The guy was middle-aged and bald. He had a particular obsession with Alexis. We were worried he was going to follow our car."
