HOT BOYS REUNION SCRAPPED AFTER SHOOTING DRAMA
Troubled rap stars LIL WAYNE and JUVENILE were forced to scrap their THE HOT BOYS reunion in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday night (17Feb08) after clubbers were shot outside the venue. The supergroup was preparing to travel to the Dream nightclub from a nearby hotel when they heard two 20-something women and a 26-year-old man had been gunned down by an unknown shooter outside. The victims were taken to a local hospital and treated for their injuries. The club was immediately closed and the concert cancelled. The Hot Boys reunion was planned around the weekend's (1617Feb08) NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, and it would have marked the first time Juvenile and Lil Wayne had played under the group moniker for many years. Speaking after the shooting incident, Lil Wayne insisted the reunion would still go ahead, explaining such a concert was "just a phonecall away".
