HOPKINS INJURED ON FILM SET
Oscar-winner SIR ANTHONY HOPKINS has been left temporarily wheelchair-bound after twisting his leg on the set of his new movie SLIPSTREAM. The actor slipped while running down a hospital corridor. He explains, "I was running down the corridor of this hospital in this scene and decided I was 28 instead of what I am." The 68-year-old star is starring in, directing, producing, writing the script and composing the score for the film. He adds, "I punish my body, I punish myself. That's what I like about myself. I really give myself a rough time sometimes because I believe in that kind of energy." The SILENCE OF THE LAMBS star is also pushing his cast, which includes CHRISTIAN SLATER and CAMRYN MANHEIM. They are filming in California's Mojave Desert where temperatures are soaring in California's record heatwave.
