HOPKINS CONDUCTS TEXAN ORCHESTRA

SIR ANTHONY HOPKINS took on the role of conductor as a Texan orchestra performed music written by the star.
The actor wrote a number of classical works for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and conducted one piece at a concert at the weekend (18Oct08).
Hopkins says, "It was an absolute thrill to not only hear my work performed by such an incredible orchestra, but to actually lead them in a performance, a performance that included music that up until that point I had only heard in my imagination... what a rush!"
