Rocker JOSH HOMME's "chronic stupidity" has prompted the QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE frontman to risk his health and perform with bronchitis. The Feel Good Hit Of The Summer singer refused to cancel a show in London on Monday night (11Feb08) after doctors told him to rest up and recover from a serious viral infection. He told fans, "I have what doctors describe as chronic stupidity - I'll book six shows straight and play until I'm destroyed. "There's people around me that are like, 'Let's slow our roll a little bit,' and I'm like, 'No!' I'm not in a hurry but I just wanna keep working." Homme also confessed the drugs don't work when it comes to battling illness on the road. He tells NME.com, "I took a lot of drugs before the show, but I obviously didn't take enough. I feel like I ruined the party."
